In Spanien wurde am 23.03 der neue Helm von Valentino Rossi, der PistaGP, vorgestellt. Es handelt sich um den Ersten einer neuen Generation von Helmen, die aus dem Projekt AGV STANDARDS entstanden , einem Verfahren, das die Helmplanungs- und Testmethode revolutioniert und es sich zum Ziel setzt, Schutzfähigkeit, Ergonomie und Komfort des Piloten auf messbare und belegbare Weise zu verbessern.

An der Pressekonferenz nahmen Valentino Rossi, Vittorio Cafaggi - Dainese Strategic Development Manager - und Massimo Varese - R&D Director Head Protection - teil.
"Ich fühle mich wohl mit dem PistaGP, mir scheint, ich habe gar keinen Helm auf dem Kopf", so Valentino Rossi. "Die Aerodynamik ist besser, die Belüftung ausgezeichnet und die Sicht großartig, wie wenn man vom Fernseher zum Kino überwechselt."
Das 2009 mit Valentino Rossi als Bezugspiloten entstandene ProjektAGV STANDARDS ist bereit, mit dem ersten PistaGP Helm auf die Piste zu gehen.
